Tennessee's Wildside, a Nashville Public Broadcasting outdoor program, features Helen Nash, in her process as she creates a Sporting Dog Painting. The cameras follow her from the beginning as she photographs the dogs on point in the fields, and then on through to the finished painting. These two dogs, John and L.J., belong to Leo Pitt, of Franklin, Kentucky, where the initial photo shoot took place with Leo's help , using live quail . The focus is on the pose, capturing the dogs intensity, which will translate into a painting honoring them and the time-honored tradition of the hunt, as well as be a good work of art.

Tennessee's Wildside is located at the Renniassance Center in Dickson, Tenn. It has a 30 minute weekly outdoor program covering many people and things of interest in Tennessee. It is on Saturday's at 6:30 and again at 9:00 on Nashville Public Television.
